About
As a fine art photographer transitioning into painting, my creative journey has evolved from a lifetime of capturing moments through a lens to expressing emotion on canvas. Photography taught me to see the world in light, shadow, and form, an education that now deeply informs my approach to painting. My work explores the dynamic interplay between the structured lines of modern architecture and the organic shapes and vibrant hues found in nature. In my abstract paintings, I aim to blur the boundaries between the man-made and the natural, blending the geometric precision of urban landscapes with the fluidity and unpredictability of the natural world. Each piece is a meditation on contrast and harmony, where architectural elements merge with nature's colors, creating compositions that invite viewers to find their own connections and interpretations. By translating my photographic eye into brush strokes, I seek to capture not just the visual beauty of my surroundings but also the emotional resonance they hold. My art is a reflection of my fascination with form and color, a celebration of both the built environment and the organic patterns that co-exist in our daily lives. Through this new medium, I continue my exploration of the world, now with paint, inviting the viewer into a dialogue with the spaces and scenes that inspire me.
